Pediatric Services

Wander: Pediatric Day Services (5-21 Years Old)

Skills are best learned when they have a chance to be used in real life situations. Using Naturalistic teaching principles, we create age-appropriate groups to spend time in their communities and practice social skills, life skills, and helping them to find pride in their unique abilities. This program runs during the summer and during school breaks for Garfield RE-2.

Pediatric Behavior Therapy (5-21 Years old)

We provide behavior support services in the home, community, clinic, and school setting. This allows youth to be able to access their education, community; as well as live safe, healthy, and fulfilling lives. Possible service areas could include parent training, using a communication device, reducing interfering or harmful or life-threatening behaviors, increasing skills such as following multi step directions, engagement in hygiene tasks, attendance to tasks, and the list goes on. If it will increase their quality of life and reduce the symptoms of their disability, we will work alongside your family to target the skills.
